The rich beauty of North Georgia doesn't just surround
you; it envelops your very soul. Mountain peaks mark the
majestic beginning of the entire Blue Ridge Mountains.
Deep blue lakes shimmer in the sunshine and reflect the
changing colors of each season. Rushing rivers continue to
slowly carve out verdant valleys, pursuing a task that began
thousands of years ago. Only a privileged few will be able
to enjoy this convergence of breathtaking beauty,
invigorating climate, and unparalleled luxury on top of a
mountain - Waterfall at Lake Burton.
Make sure you bring every club in your bag...... and a camera. Mother nature provided a rich
canvas. Golf architect Scott Pool created a challenging masterpiece. Through most of the front
nine, the beauty of Lake Burton is visible below. The waterfall on the Par 3 signature second hole
cascades from tee to green. The back nine offers miles of breathtaking vistas that inspire wonder,
but may make concentration the toughest part of your game. Reasons enough to keep that camera
handy. Be sure to count every shot. You may very well find out you've taken more pictures than
strokes when you finish.

The founder of Eagle’s Landing in Atlanta and Former CEO of Ritz-Carlton teamed up to
develop an exclusive 400-acre country club community on Lake Burton in the North Georgia
Mountains.  What was once a beautiful equestrian facility, where Bill and Sandra Johnson would
train their best Tennessee Walkers, is now a spectacular 400-acre country club community called
Waterfall. Bill Johnson--until recently the owner of Ritz Carlton--sought Killearn as his partner to
develop the finest golf community in Northeast Georgia. Waterfall, with homesites at an elevation
of 3,000 feet, boasts breathtaking views of Lake Burton and the Chattahoochee National Forest.
Included in the community is a 60,000 square foot club facility with indoor swimming, tennis and
a European spa. From the golf course's signature #2 hole, golfers tee off at the top of a waterfall
to a green 215 feet below. With only 200 homesites, Waterfall will be home to a privileged few.

Influential developer J.T. Williams and Killearn aimed at creating a mountain gathering spot for
Atlanta’s business elite. However, Atlanta’s elite are being joined by those as far away from us as
Naples and Chicago.
